Child Safety Standards (CSAE)
Carfanz Ltd ("PYCL") has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation ("CSAE"). This policy sets out our standards against CSAE and how we act on it. It supports our obligations under UK child-protection law and the Online Safety Act 2023, and the child-safety requirements of the app stores. Contact: info@pycl.app.
1. Adults only — our first line of defence
PYCL is strictly for adults aged 18 and over, and gates all access. No one can use any part of the app until they have passed an age check at sign-up (facial age estimation, with a photo-ID check as a fallback). Keeping under-18s off the platform entirely is our primary child-safety control.
2. Zero tolerance
We do not permit, and we act decisively against: • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind. • Sexualisation of, or sexually explicit content involving, anyone under 18. • Grooming, solicitation, or any attempt to contact, exploit or endanger a child. • Any account or behaviour intended to facilitate the above.
3. How to report
Anyone can report content or an account: • In the app — use the Report option on any post, comment, message or account. • By email — info@pycl.app. Reports that indicate CSAE are treated as our highest priority.
4. How we respond
• We remove CSAE content as soon as we become aware of it. • We ban the accounts involved and take steps to prevent their return. • We preserve relevant evidence as the law requires. • We report to law enforcement and to the relevant child-protection bodies — in the UK the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), and the NCMEC CyberTipline where appropriate — and cooperate fully with their investigations.
5. Detection and moderation
• Images and text are put through automated content screening that flags potentially unsafe material for review before it is posted. • We act promptly on user reports. • We keep our moderation tools and this policy under review and improve them over time.

7. Legal
We comply with applicable UK child-protection law and cooperate with national and international authorities. Nothing in this policy limits any obligation we have under the law.
